Loneliness - 8th September 2016

Hi,

This is my first blog post on my forum, and I’m including a link to this on my twitter account as well.

Well, to start things off, if you’ve read my about me/us page you may already know the reason why I decided to create this forum. It’s because I couldn’t find a basis for a general socialising forum for those of us on the autistic spectrum. I wanted to find a community where you could be yourself and not have to ‘fit in’. I couldn’t find a place that suited what I wanted to accomplish. To build friendships and stronger bonds through writing to each other and getting to know one another. This is my goal. I have so much depression, anxiety, worries. I feel so alone and I want to find people to write to. I just want to make friends and grow stronger bonds. I’m reaching out to find some common ground with others. I’m hoping that through creating this forum, I can attract people who would like to write to myself or each other.

I want to make sure this forum can provide a safe, warm, welcoming environment that is open-minded, caring and understanding. I hope that anyone out there interested in making friends, would join my forum, as I’d love to get to know you, write to you and be friends.

Every day that goes by my depression gets deeper and deeper because I feel so alone. I’m reaching out as best as I can, and by creating a forum which I hope you find interesting and easy to navigate. I’m posting my blogs onto twitter.
